About Poreč Old Town

Poreč Old Town occupies a slender peninsula laid out on the original Roman street grid, the Decumanus and Cardo, lined with Venetian palaces, churches and the magnificent 6th-century Euphrasian Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The marina-side Riva and pedestrian lanes buzz with visitors from spring to autumn. Heritage apartments are scarce and command a premium, typically €3,800-4,500/m², above the town average, prized for walk-everywhere short-let appeal. Yields around 5% are strong for such a central location, helped by long-season tourism.
