About Bačvice

Bačvice is where Split swims and plays the homegrown game of picigin in its shallow sandy bay, with the Austro-Hungarian bathing pavilion as a landmark; the seafront promenade links it back to the Old Town and ferry port. Behind the beach sits the city's densest cluster of clubs and bars, making this both a daytime family beach and a nightlife magnet. Housing is mostly mid-rise apartments, prized for the rare combination of beach access and a walkable centre.
