Tab Kaek Beach

Tab Kaek, also spelled Tubkaak, sits at the quiet northern tip of the Klong Muang coastline, where forested headlands give way to a calm bay looking straight out at Krabi's signature limestone islands. It is the most exclusive of the province's mainland beaches, defined by boutique luxury resorts and a deliberate absence of the crowds and nightlife found at Ao Nang. The mood is serene and refined. As an investment, Tab Kaek is a scarcity play at the luxury end of the market. Limited beachfront land and a high-end resort character support premium pricing, but the same factors make for a thin, seasonal and tourism-dependent market that can swing through downturns. Buyers should plan around long holding periods, the structural reality that beachfront land cannot be foreign freehold (leasehold or company structures, with only units inside the 49% quota), and the operational demands of premium short-let rentals.
