About Atlantic Seaboard (Sea Point/Camps Bay/Clifton)

The Atlantic Seaboard is where Cape Town puts its best face to the ocean. Sea Point is the dense, walkable heart, a 6km promenade where the whole city walks at sunset, a Main Road thick with restaurants and the Mojo Market food hall. It is the one part of the seaboard where you can genuinely live car-free, which is why it commands premium yields and constant rental demand. Climb the coast and the mood turns resort-glamorous: Camps Bay's palm-lined strip and Clifton's wind-sheltered beaches are the postcard Cape Town, with some of the most expensive residential real estate in Africa (Clifton reaching R100,000–127,000/m²). These upper nodes lean to second homes and holiday lets, so investors trade lower long-term yields for capital security and exceptional short-term-rental performance.
